The new Nissan Magnite, which was launched globally only a month ago, has gone on sale in South Africa with bold new styling, an improved interior with additional tech, advanced safety features and a choice of two well-performing 1.0 litre engines.

For the upcoming season the Nissan Formula E Team will continue with its popular cherry blossom livery, which has been a fan favourite for the last two years. The livery holds significance, both as a hint to the teams Japanese DNA and new beginnings, while it has now also become part of the Nissan team’s identity in Formula E.

Nissan’s vehicle-to-grid technology will enable vehicle owners to use electricity stored in their car’s battery to power their homes or sell it back into the grid. This solution could be great for South Africa where load shedding and power interruptions remain a part of daily life.

The new Nissan Magnite combines sleek new styling, innovative technologies, optimum efficiency and reinforced safety features.

This new Navara model will carry the Navara XE badge and will be available with the same engine as its counterparts, although it has been tuned for mid-level performance. The Navara XE will also be available with the choice of rear-wheel 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrains.
