Nissan adds stylish Kuro model to Magnite range

Nissan expands Magnite offering with blacked out Kuro models

Nissan are expanding their Magnite offering with the addition of the stylish Kuro derivatives that feature an all-black exterior and interior to create a unique take on this already excitingly styled vehicle.

Visually the Magnite is a showstopper, its dominating front grille and signature tail lamps being centrepieces to the distinctive curves and edges which shape the rest of the vehicle.

The Magnite Kuro takes the regular Magnite and transforms it into a vehicle that is designed to make a statement wherever you go thanks to an all-black interior and exterior along with a dominating grill. R16 Gunmetal black alloy wheels with red callipers and unique Kuro badging complete the bespoke finishes. The aggressive design and premium features have been designed to underline the vehicles presence while expressing its individuality.

The ergonomic cockpit is designed around the driver, with Nissan’s eight-inch touch-operated infotainment system the centre piece of the interior. In addition to offering seamless connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the state-of-the-art integrated audio, navigation and communication system puts the heart and soul of the Magnite at the driver’s fingertips. Passengers will welcome the spacious leg room and generous 336 litres of boot space.

On Kuro models the interior is as dark as the night, with the dark tones complimented by features such as a front air conditioning vent with black finish and additional equipment such as a wireless charger, front arm rest, gear shift garnish and premium dark themed TFOM dashboard.

Safety is taken care of by dual front airbags and three-point driver seat belts with pretensioner and load limiter. A state of the art Around View Monitor makes parking and negotiating rush hour traffic a breeze.

With intuitive systems like ABS, EBD, Traction Control and Nissan’s Vehicle Dynamic Control standard across the range, the Magnite is well-equipped to handle changing road surfaces and sudden changes in direction. In addition Nissan’s Intelligent Hill Start Assist Control keeps the vehicle steady on an incline. Cruise control with an adjustable speed limiter function is standard across the range and makes open road driving a breeze.

Under the bonnet is a 1.0 litre turbocharged engine that delivers 74kW and 160Nm in manual guise and 74kW and 152Nm in CVT derivatives. This engine pairs performance with frugal fuel economy. Manual models are said to use just 5,3 litres per 100km while CVT models will sip 6,0 litres per 100km.

The Nissan Magnite Kuro will be available in two derivatives. The 1.0T Kuro SV MT features a wireless charger, 16-inch black alloy wheels, a black interior and black roof rails or the Kuro SV CVT which features the same specification along with the addition of a CVT transmission

All Nissan Magnite models including the Kuro derivatives are sold with a three-year/30 000km service plan and a six year/150 000km warranty.
