Nissan heads to Tokyo Auto Salon 2025
Nissan to showcase a variety of exciting models at Tokyo Auto Salon 2025
Nissan and Nissan Motorsports are set to showcase a remarkable array of vehicles that embody the evolution of Nissan technology and customisation at Tokyo Auto Salon 2025.
Nissan’s booth at Tokyo Auto Salon will include a sports car section that showcases vehicles that merge advanced technology with racing insights while the custom car section will demonstrate Nissan’s unique expertise in this field.
Also on display will be two feature vehicles from the Autech custom car brand, showcasing enhanced design and functionality from Nissan’s in-house bodywork specialists.
Fairlady Z
The 2025 North Amercian specification model of the Fairlady Z will be on display following the opening of Japanese order books for this model last month. The Fairlady Z offers dynamic performance and agile responsiveness that perfectly aligns with the intentions of enthusiastic drivers. The design harmoniously blends tradition with modern technology.
Nissan GT-R NISMO Special Edition
Also on display will new the Nissan GT-R NISMO Special Edition which represents the highest levels of performance in the history of the GT-R as it incorporates maximum motorsport technology including high-precision weight-balanced engine components such as piston rings, conrods and crankshafts along with a NISMO exclusive carbon fibre bonnet featuring clear coating and a NACA duct.
Nissan Ariya NISMO
Based on the Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE, the flagship EV NISMO model embodies a new generation of EV NISMO design, merging elegance with superior aerodynamic performance. Thanks to exclusive NISMO tuning, this model offers exceptional handling, exhilarating cornering and sustained acceleration.
Nissan R32 GT-R EV conversion
The Nissan R32EV concept is based on an R32 Skyline GT-R converted into an EV by a dedicated team of volunteer engineers at Nissan. This initiative aims to capture and recreate the charm of the BNR32 with the integration of modern electrification.
X-Trail unwind concept
Inspired by the concept of “chill”, this exhibit showcases two new and vintage X-Trail models equipped with fun features.
The X-Trail unwind concept is based on the current X-Trail with e-POWER, customised with a trailer to be terraced, creating a seamless space that transcends the boundary between indoor and outdoor, making it perfect for luxurious moments such as enjoying authentic expresso.
The X-Trail remastered concept, the third in Nissan’s used car customisation series following the Cube and March, utilises a previous-generation X-Trail to create an environment for enjoying analogue records.
Disaster support spec Nissan Caravan
The fifth exhibit features a Nissan Caravan concept designed for disaster support. Following customer feedback regarding the previously shown Disaster Support Mobile-Hub, the latest model has evolved with a focus on practicality. The latest iteration features a portable battery from a Leaf strategically placed throughout to enhance practicality. In addition to everyday use this model is designed to support disaster relief activities for several days in the event of an emergency.
Aura and Serena Autech Sports Spec
Nissan will also exhibit two vehicles from Autech’s flagship model range, including the soon to be announced Aura Autech Sports Spec and the Serena Autech Sports Spec, set to be released in early December. These models combine sporty, refined styling with an exhilarating driving experience as each model features a specially modified body and retuned suspension, power steering characteristics and computer resulting in an engaging balance of sportiness and stability.
