Nissan unveil all-new Murano

Fourth generation Nissan Murano features a variety of innovative technology

Nissan have unveiled an all-new Murano, featuring a premium design and an extensive list of new features.

The fourth-generation midsize crossover builds on Nissan’s design theme of energetic elegance and features a sleek and modern exterior accentuated by 21-inch wheels, full width LED taillights and two-tone paintwork.

The interior is said to be equally impressive, featuring soft-touch, finely detailed materials throughout, dual high definition 12.3-inch displays and premium features such as 64-colour ambient lighting and massaging front seats.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 comes standard

The Nissan Murano is fitted as standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360 which works in conjunction with ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 1.1 to help to streamline road trips  by helping with highway driving. New to Murano camera technologies include Invisible Hood View, which allows for a virtual view through the engine bay, aiding in precise navigation. The 3D Around View Monitor provides eight virtual vantage points around the vehicle when parking or manoeuvring.

Google built in

Staying connected while on the go is a priority for modern consumers and the Murano meets this expectation with Google built-in, which includes up to date Maps and apps on the built in 12.3-inch touchscreen. Adding to the infotainment offering is a Bose 10-speaker audio system that has been tuned to offer an immersive sound experience throughout the cabin.

Under the bonnet

The Murano is powered by a responsive 2.0-litre engine that utilises a variable compression turbocharger to offer 180kW. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission that features paddle shifters for a more engaging driving experience. The new Murano is available in both front and all-wheel drive configurations.
