A range of new Nissan products are headed to Africa in the next two years

Nissan have unveiled a variety of new and refreshed models, along with next-generation technologies which are set to be launched during 2025 and 2026. These new products are expected to play a crucial role in elevating the company’s performance, boosting customer loyalty, attracting new buyers and promoting sustainable growth.
To meet the continued demand for diverse powertrain options, the upcoming line up will include hybrid technologies, including e-Power and plug-in hybrids, next generation electric vehicles and advanced internal combustion engines.
Through powertrain diversification and the launch of new models, Nissan will provide a broader range of options that cater to the diverse customer preferences of the Nissan brand.
Over the next two years Nissan will roll out an impressive line-up which is set to include the reimagined Nissan Leaf, and a new Micra EV as well as the next generation e-Power drivetrain.

All-new Nissan Leaf

Redesigned as a sleek and spacious family-friendly crossover, the third generation Nissan Leaf will pair substantial improvements in aerodynamics with a more advanced EV architecture.
The new Nissan Leaf is based on the brand’s CMF-EV platform which prioritises efficient energy management, streamlined packaging and enhanced driving performance, all of which are expected to ensure significant range improvements.
Specification highlights include 19-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. In certain markets the Leaf will be equipped with a NACS charging port, enabling convenient access to the Tesla Supercharger network.

Next-generation e-Power

Nissan’s third generation e-Power hybrid drivetrain will benefit from learnings of the over 1.6 million units produced since 2016.
The drivetrain promises notable improvements in efficiency, including a 15% enhancement in economy at high speeds along with lower emissions and enhanced refinement.
Central to these advancements is the implementation of a new 1.5-litre e-Power engine and a new five in one system, which shares core components with Nissan’s latest EV powertrain. The third-generation e-Power system is set to debut in the Qashqai in Europe later this year.
