The 2023 Nissan X-Trail is ready for adventure
Fourth generation Nissan X-Trail builds on a well-established DNA
The 2023 Nissan X-Trail is ready to take you and your family on your next adventure. Throughout its lifespan, Nissan has continued to evolve the X-Trail and the latest incarnation features leading edge technologies, powerful performance and a level of technology that only a genuine SUV offers.
The X-Trail is one of Nissan’s most successful global vehicles with sales in over 100 markets and has been enabling family adventures for over 20 years. The fourth-generation model draws from a well-established DNA that runs through all three of the previous generations of X-Trail.
While thoroughly modern the X-Trail has remained true to its original recipe of robust looks, advanced and efficient all-wheel drive powertrains and flexible practicality.
Sculpted with a muscular and modern design, the X-Trail is also equipped with a full suite of advanced driving assistance technologies for stress free driving, a comprehensive range of technology features to ensure safety and a refined interior that delivers only the best in driver and passenger experience.
Modern yet recognisable styling
The Nissan X-Trail’s exterior raises the bar for SUVs by combining the tough gear legacy of the first generation with higher levels of quality. The headlamps feature a two-layer structure with position lamps above and the turn lamps below. The boomerang style rear combination lamps feature a delicate faceted pattern that conveys exquisite workmanship.
The interior design gives a feeling of both toughness and premium quality. The centre console features a bridge structure that includes a large cup holder and storage space while the console lid also functions as an armrest.
The X-Trail continues Nissan’s long-standing heritage in SUVs. With a generous seven-seat configuration, versatile luggage space and the way that it seamlessly caters for the practicalities of day-to-day life.
Under the bonnet
In South Africa the Nissan X-Trail is available in three derivatives, the Visia CVT, Acenta CVT and Acenta Plus CVT, all utilising the same four-cylinder petrol engine.
The 2.5-litre four-cylinder offers 135kW and 244Nm which allows the X-Trail to reach a top speed of 195km/h while using 7,4 litres per 100km. All derivatives are paired with a CVT transmission.
Advanced tech across the range
The Nissan X-Trail is equipped with a variety of innovative technology including, on selected models, the intuitive 4x4 capabilities that the Nissan X-Trail is known for. Features such as Intelligent Cruise Control, Predictive Front Collision Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Emergency Braking and ProPilot ensure that the driver is well supported in all situations.
